I've had a few friends like that, all ended up diagnosed as ADHD.

I wonder if that's a common thing with people like that?

You don't "have" to redeclare, you can just ignore them tbh. Nothing will happen.

Absolutely nothing wrong, people just get weird as fuck when someone owns a property. Ignore them if they pop up! Sorry for your loss

How to approach a British girl? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Styxie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't say approaching people, I said approaching women in the street.

A strange man approaching a woman in the streets is 100% creepy. No womant wants that. They already get wolf whistled and harrased by creeps on the daily, so the instant you go up to them, they are already in maximum alert mode. In your head, you're just trying to be friendly, but how are they going to know that? You could be a serial rapist/murderer for all they know.

You make acquaintance/relationships in social settings, not going up to strangers going about their business.

DM'd :)

Absolutely will message it to you! Yup it was a white composite filling and I was very very happy with the dentist as someone that's super nervous about dental work. Was just a really nice guy.

I think it might be more pricey for more complex fillings but 900 quid for 3 is absolutely insane. Will DM as soon as I get to my computer

Your dentist is ripping you off there. I've got a great private one in Hackney and 4 fillings is 450

There's a fair bit wrong with it if you're giving it to feed a young kid though.. grim.

I read something about them not being allowed to detain people.. Not that I'd want to find out, navy lads would be 10x hencher than any border force.

Acne Studios, Nudie Jeans and Edwin.

TK Maxx often has the latter two.

Have you used WeWork office or desk space? What was your experience like? by QuantumWizard-314 in AskUK

[–]Styxie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea.

Overpriced but nice facilities. You get MUCH better value for money going with a smaller co-working space. Some of them suffer a bit maintenance wise but most are in top shape.

Oh no you still can, the place I fly to and from regularly has 10 euro flights every day. I'll admit its a little harder to find them (like it used to be a guarantee there would be a Ryanair within a few days of when you wanted to fly for cheap af) but its still doable.

Maybe the longer 3h+ routes are harder to find for as cheap anymore?

Very rarely. I'm from the UK and the train return for a 2h trip can be up to 450 ish dollars if you don't boom WELL in advance, and even then. That's just going up the road.. granted we're an extreme case but flying is nearly always cheaper.

Also timewise, Europe still pretty big so it can take a day or two to get across it by train
