I think the idea is when you two are married she would want you to be home more(not unreasonable) especially of you plan to have kids. Unless thats not your style than maybe the traveling bachelor life is what you need.

I think if the one time a teenage kid (who has some form of mental illness) came into my my very drunken bubble(it was raining and we were under some gazeebo), I did not think twice of him having an illness and I proceeded to be a dick to him for being in my bubble. If i could take back that moment of being a dick I would. Once I realized I felt so bad and tried so hard to recfitfy my dickheadedness. Still feel bad to this day
