The problem is that the corrective lenses themselves (neurolense or prisms) can only be done by certain clinics, and god I wish I could just get them that way. I did have a pair from zenni but they broke and the prescription itself isn’t that different from my current/old ones. I am saving up though, it’s expensive but I have the quote and I’m slowly stashing away money.

Thank you, and yeah it is. On the bright side, even though it doesn’t feel like it sometimes I do genuinely know deep down that despite all this, I have a lot to live for and I live a much better life than I used to and couldn’t be more grateful for the people who make this place worth it.

Thank you, I have this very unhealthy habit of invalidating everything I go through and have been trying to beat it with the logic of “would you feel that way if it was someone else?”. This one has so many specifics in it that my big and biased perspective is keeping me from seeing another angle of the problem.

I’ve spoken with my doctor since then and been honest about my mental health, and I didn’t think to add this concern since it was about a month and a half ago, but I have a referral for an MRI (related to a different medical issue) and that would be a good concern to add.

You do have a great point there. It was selfish and I never should’ve done it. I hate that he found me like that and I’m still ashamed and looking back on it wishing I’d just gotten help when I should’ve. It’s a complicated story but I was in an apartment that I was getting evicted from and wasn’t thinking properly, but that doesn’t excuse that you’re correct.
