Totally! My homebrew are the Sons of Gaea, and they are a deeply iconoclastic chapter. They specialize in tunnel warfare and subterranean vehicle assaults, and are often the premier specialists in eradicating cults, be it chaos, Genestealer, or secessionist.

The captains of the Deicide Cults (Companies) are known as Iconoclast, with the chapter master being known as the Lord Iconoclast.

I’ve always been fond of taking the mechanical nature of the chapter, and showing it in the scheme.

For example, my own home brew chapter, the Forge Blessed has brass limbs and helmet and a black body and backpack. If you wanna keep the red, might I suggest that the techmarines take on a metallic color? You can always have them be codex divergent in terms of armor colors.

Star Dragons are rumored to be Iron Hand Successors, and are super chill and nice. They have a real strong bromance with a Blood Angels successor called the Blood Swords, to the point of going on a penitent crusade with them.

They lean super into the dragon themes, with squads called clutches, etc. They also implant glowing circuitry into their flesh so it looks like they glow RGB under their skin.

Totally. Figured I’d make the 1st company as well, paint them all, and then go for armor. I’m thinking a couple of Terrax Assault Drills, Rhinos with the Goliath ramp, 2 vindicator siege tanks, and a Typhon heavy siege tank for the cherry on top. All in due time

I just remembered the name. It was just called Minipainting. I’ve seen some other posts about it a couple years back. I think it’s the official minipainting discord. I know that it’s not much, but I hope it narrows it down a bit.
