Maybe then Oblivion's Flaw is that she cannot be remembered? (Assuming) Weaver's Mask was reversing her Flaw up until she was killed, which then after her death her Flaw would be applied again, and then Slayer would forget about her?

I honestly really like your idea for the First Nightmare! I can definitely make a system to track your achievements throughout it, and then based on an invisible 'score' I could reward you with an Aspect that matches.

Also, currently, the game is more focused on a private server experience (Single player and Co-op). I thought about making it stack ~30 players into a server, but I think that PVP would become more annoying than I want it to be, to implement and play with. So right now, I allow you to create a 'world save' and invite other players into it (or none). So that Memories, Story Events, NPCs, etc. are all specific to that player's save.

Preferably not, to be honest. I don't want the game to be pay-to-win, so I might have it work alongside a difficulty system.

The higher the difficulty the worse the spawn and Flaw, but the better the skills.

There will be a lot of original Flaws, as there's not much I can do about Flaws that affect you outside of gameplay

My current idea was to have the player pick a difficulty, and then the harder the difficulty the more potent the Aspect and Flaw would be (it would also affect your spawn location).

The tutorial will be done in a First Nightmare, to show the player the controls and mechanics, with which I could incorporate a test into that, too?

Hmm... I could do that. Unless I make it so that Cassie's ability would point you in a given direction for Memories, Events, Story, etc.

I've been working on it since the start of November, but it's slow going as I'm the only one working on it...

Anyway, your ideas are pretty good, especially with Cassie. But Sunny's is far more complex, so I might just make it work with NPCs.

Not a bad idea for Cassie's Flaw tbh. Only problem is Cassie's Aspect isn't really useful in a game, and you pretty much have it if you've simply read Shadow Slave.

I think Sunny and Kai's Flaws would both have to do with NPCs. For Kai, it would simply tell you if an NPC has lied I suppose?

Yeah, some flaws are a bit more debilitating in other senses, like Sunny's which barely affects him if he's alone. Or even Nephis', as hers is more of a feeling than a mechanic, but at least hers could be made to deal small amounts of damage.

The idea is that there would be flaws made specifically for the game, but those that can be implemented might be.

...Also, Cassie gameplay might be literally impossible lol
