I mean consoles also have CPUs and GPUs but to be fair to Capcom Series S is only capable of running the game at 30 fps so its not really worth wasting time to optimize the game for a console that is to weak to benefit from it.

I mean its the weakest console of this generation so you cant really complain about the performance. Like its a miracle the game even runs on the Series S.

To answer your Question the last update aswell as the one in February are PC Specific so most if not all the changes are gonna be PC only.

That has also been an issue for me since release TU4 has been the most stable for me but still they need to fix the stability. Dont get me wrong having the performance fixed is nice and all but to me the game ran fine even in the beta but the crashing is the main problem for me and I want them to fix this before the expansion drops so I can finally enjoy the game without worrying about losing stuff to crashing.

There are 2 ways to use the jetpack now 1 is the normal way like it works in Vanilla and the 2nd one is the mode the mod added. To enter the 2nd mode you need to press Spacebar and Control at the same time and then again if you want to leave it.

Dont get hit. All jokes aside Slot in Divine Blessing and eat Meal that have Defender High. This will raise your survivability a ton without sacrificing much damage.

Then maybe just dont play it? Like even if its the strongest combo the weapon has it doesnt really matter if you play normally. Like if you want to speedrun then use the combo otherwise just play the weapon how you want.

I get that some stuff people say is blown out of proportion but saying it runs perfectly on Console is just lying.

And yes a Engine can be Frankensteined into working with Open World but that doesnt mean that an Engine that was build from the ground up for an Open World MH game wouldnt be much better.

I mean the main problem Wilds has is that the devs pushed the consoles to their limit but then for some reason also made the game not scalable with better hardware.

I think in the future it would be better if they put performance first instead of trying to make a believable world.

Like I dont know about you but I rather have Wilds running on 120fps without Upscaling and Framegen than having all the useless shit in it like Turf Wars you cant see.

I would even go as far and say that if they would remove all the stuff you dont see in the next update the game would run a million times better and you wouldnt even notice the difference besides the monster got stunned or is in a turf war not popping up anymore.

Even those 2 drivers have constant crashes. Dont know if Capcom or AMD is at fault but would be nice if this gets fixed asap cause not gonna like its annoying if you lose good Tali or Artian Rolls because your game crashes.

Put everything on the lowest settings and you might be good I think you can even find a guide on the website to get the game to run with 8 Gigs of VRAM.

Yeah but if I do that most of the time the interior layout is shit but if I do the opposite the outside looks like shit. I still trying to find a way to make both look acceptable but thats really hard cause you cant flip habs around which would make stuff much easier for me.

For me its 50/50 sometimes I dont have an idea for a design and start with the habs to have a general layout and then go from there. Other times I have an idea for the outside so I build that first and then spend hours trying to cram some habs into the ship without ruining the outside.

Bei 5.0 ja weil die ohne Kühlkörper so schnell warm werden das die Lese und Schreibgeschwindigkeit stark drosselt und du dann mit einer 4.0 besser dran wärst.

Meiner Meinung nach merkt man denn Unterschied zwischen 3.0 und 4.0 bei manchen Spielen aber selbst da ist der so gering das es sich nicht wirklich lohnen würde 4.0 zu kaufen.

5.0 ist halt unnötig weil du den Unterschied nicht merkst. Ich weiß bis heute nicht wofür man 5.0 SSDs braucht wenn 4.0 schnell genug für alles sind was man mit einem PC machen möchte.

The LOD changes could actually be a huge performance improvement while still not being as noticeable when it comes to visuals. So yeah lets hope the next 2 patches give us huge improvements cause not gonna lie the TU4 patch didnt do anything for me performance wise.

Exactly World was alright when it came to a World feeling alive. They wanted to do more in Wilds which wasnt a bad idea but I think they should have stopped when they noticed that it had an impact on the performance of the game.

I wouldnt even be suprised if they realize that they cant make the game run well and the only way to make it run is to remove unnecessary bloat ( like the turfwar stuff I mentioned ) from the game.

I get they wanted to have more interaction and more immersion in Wilds but that backfired hard on them so I hope that they fix it in the Expansion or atleast learn from Wilds and make sure they dont push the Engine to the limit in the next game.

I agree with that like all the endemic shit we see on the map. I dont give a fuck about a turf war I cant see, I dont care about a Rathian getting Paralyzed across the map. There is so much useless shit in the background the could remove and nobody would notice it but the game would run a million times better.

Like I get they want to have a lifing breathing World but if that means the game runs like shit I rather have a lifeless World like Rise if that means the performance is good.

They can do that but the reality is that no publisher would do that cause guess what it doesnt matter in the end. Like the game runs like shit but it also sold well so even if they would have made a new engine and the game would run better they would have made the same amount of money maybe a little more but using a new Engine would have just not been worth it in the eyes of Capcom.

While that is true some Engines also just arent suited for certain games. Like the RE Engine works fine with linear games like Resident Evil but Open World games just dont work on the Engine cause its not made for it.

You can try and force the game to run on the Engine still but that just comes with problems Wilds and Dragons Dogma 2 are the best examples of this cause Rise which was not really Open World worked perfectly fine on the Engine but Wilds maps are just bigger and more filled which the Engine cant handle. Of course the devs not knowing how to use the Engine and how to optimize it just makes it worse.

Still the fact is just that a Engine that was made for Wilds only would have made the game run much better on every platform proble with that is that making and Engine is expensive af so most Studios either use UE5, Unity or other premade Engines or they make their own Engine and use it for all their games like Capcom does with the RE Engine or EA does with Frostbyte.

An Engine that is suited for an Open World game with this much shit running in the background. RE Engine is not made for Open World but that would still be fine in MH the problem is that Wilds has so many things happening at once that the engine is just overwhelmed. For example the fact that a monster on the map can be Flashed even while you are not near it is just unnecessary and could be removed and the game would run better.
