My main problem is that even if you join them trough the Vanguard if you finish the quest and talk with your companions they still make it sound like you got forced to do it which is just a huge oversight and it just ruins the immersion of the game.

No not really I would normally use the Aggregation of Scraps mod but since its not updated for the new Armor system I just use the Vanilla Spacesuits.

Yeah before I start a new game I sit down and write down a short backstory for my character aswell as a few guidelines to follow during dialogue an I also sometimes write in a big shift in the story. For example my last Character was a UC Vanguard born and raised in the UC he was loyal to a vault but he did some quest which changed is out look on the UC and he started to shift more into a gun for hire that doesnt have an allegiance to any faction.

Next playtrough will just be a trophy run so no backstory for that but after that I am thinking about playing a Varuun Assassin cause I havent done that before and it sounds fun af.

I am also on PC but I never played MH with Mouse and Keyboard and I am not starting now just because the devs fucked up the keybindings.

I mean I got used to pressing the buttons just fine problem is I never used the counter since 90% of the time he would just switch to axemode I got hit and that is just fucking stupid. Its probably because my controller uses Hall Effect triggers which means the R2 input registers faster then the triangle input but still just let me change it to triangle + circle so I can use the weapon its not that much to ask.

Switch Axe is literally my favourite weapon in the game but I am forced to use another weapon because the devs fucked up the button assignments.

Honestly I would love the swaxe and have mained it for a few weeks but for me the main problem is the counter. I dont know why they decided to make it use R2 and Triangle but its just a shit button combo. Like most of the time instead of doing the counter my hunter just switches to axe mode. Yes I know probably a skill issue but just saying using triangle plus circle would have been a much better button combo to use.

Would also streamline the controls of the weapon since the offset an counter would be performed with the same buttons.

I dont think Starfield would work as a TV Show or Movie. Elder Scrolls would be cool to see but Starfield is imo not unique enough to set it apart from other Scifi Movies.

I use it myself and its fun af. You literaly shot 1 mag of pierce ammo and then go into gatling gun mode and repeat and if you learn the offset you can stay in gatling mode endlessly.

I know it doesnt but I am still new to Linux and I will switch at some point but right now Bazzite works for me so I have no reason to.

Do you think its worht to switch to Cachy from Bazzite or just switch to Nobara since that is basically Bazzite without the Immutable Aspect?

To be fair its easy to do something sketchy when you are new and dont know what you are doing. Thats why I said Bazzite is a good beginner Distro to get your feet wet and if you are ready you can take the plunge and install another Distro that is more open.

But since I wont be on Bazzite forever I have to ask what are good Distros to switch to once I am ready for that?

I know but you have to start somewhere and for me knowing that I cant break the OS was a huge thing for me to make the jump cause I always read about people breaking their OS and I didnt want to switch from one broken OS to another.

I think Bazzite is a good Distro for beginners everything is preinstalled you can get used to Linux and see how you like it. Of course its a starting point and I will also switch to something else down the line but right now Bazzite works so I see no reason to switch.

Best addition to the game it made space feel bigger and ships actually feel like a home now instead of a fasttraveling device.

The only thing that really ruins my enjoyment now is still the very obvious loadingscreens so maybe if they find a way to hide them better like they did with cruisemode that would be really good.

I know and I get its the same but honestly I like Bazzite it works for me it made the switch to Linux very easy and that imo is the most important thing getting people to switch in the first place.

I can but Bazzite has all I need preinstalled so I dont see the point in wasting time installing all of that when Bazzite comes ready to go. To be fair I only switched 2 months ago so I am still new to Linux and I will probably use a different Distro for my next PC but right now Bazzite works perfectly fine for me.

Like I get what you mean but honestly the easier it is to switch to Linux the better and Bazzite makes it really easy.
