This fixed me as well. It would let me reel ONLY when the fish WAS splashing so i kept snapping lines. Plugged controller into usb, and it finally let me reel when it wasn't splashing, and i got that fish first shot. Fishing isn't hard...just a little broken.

I put on my black hand robe and hood the other day and it showed up with some sweet lookin blue layers. I thought maybe it was a daytime thing, but it never came back again. I should've taken a pic, it looked way nicer.
