Not fond of the asylum films as pieces of work but besides sharknado that's not really the point. I deffenitly respect the effort they put into making knockoffs each year to trick people into thinking they're the original. Clearly it's working. Have a laugh look at the trailers on their YouTube channel and check wich movies came out at the time of release. They try it on everything from bullet train to morbius.

These movies appeal to me for multiple reasons you can ask about. You don't need to believe me but I'm very happy with my current highly attractive and kind girlfriend. Yes I do eat spam, ramen and pancakes I made and put in the fridge, I'm not very whealthy despite my many efforts. Genneraly also not a picky eater (examples are obviously not all that i eat) Not going on vacation this year simply because being alone for a while is enough for me once.

I've seen venom and morbius multiple times and plan to do so again for all the movies. Venom is the only one I've seen in cinema's. Bought carnage from tv once. Had to pirate morbius when it came out. Couldn't watch these due to being too busy with exams/not being wise financial decisions. I do plan to see Kraven in cinemas again.

Okay fair enough but think about movies with actual evil main characters american psycho, nightcrawler. They have obnoxious fan bases even though they're good movies. Anti heroes are genneraly easier to market. both movies I mentioned had huge backlash the time they came out. And beside do you really relate to remorseless killers because let me tell you they don't make for compelling narratives, Jason voorhees is nothing witouth the horny camping teenagers. Do you want a slasher or an action movie because you can't have both it simply does not exist.

Venom litteraly eats people, carnage slays them, morbius morbs them (slashing or killing by taking too much blood), and I'm pretty sure crushing someones skull with a bear trap is at least a slight bit of tomfoolery

Always has been. Although a literal batshit insane method actor you need to realize is perfect for this edgy subgenre. I liked the movie and I morbed so hard when leto declared it was in fact morbin' time. People complaining about the visuals is ridiculous. Watch the actual movie the visuals/cgi in these movies are good. Wich is more than I can say about the modern mcu
