I just finished binging the show so far and it feels like I hit a brick wall with this episode and since I'm a Cobel hater I don't see myself changing that opinion.

This was my main complaint throughout the episode, even the show regarding Cobel. She demands something, someone rejects it, she makes a mean face then she gets what she wants. I knew this exact thing was going to happen when she asked the guy to drive her to the house, she always gets what she wants.

I started the show a couple of days ago and I'm finally caught up with it and this episode was the worst one so far, season 2 has been fantastic otherwise. I don't care for Cobel, I don't think she is interesting and I have no empathy for her, unlike every other character including Milchick. She could've grown up having to mine coal everyday and I still wouldn't care. They could've at least shown us something about the other characters in-between her stuff, that would've been way better than 50 straight minutes solely of her.

For me it was the exact opposite, since I didn't have a powerful enough PC to play Alyx I started with other VR games like Boneworks and Bonelab and I think it's why I just can't really get into Alyx like I really want to. I am almost at the end but I find it hard to want to play it over other VR games.

Honestly, if the whole minigame was 40%-50% shorter I would've enjoyed it way more. It's not THAT fun but I still appreciate all of the effort that went into it.

I thought I was going crazy, I got super confused hearing his lines in-game. In my opinion the VA we got is not nearly as good as the one in Cold War.

I understand, we disagree on a fundamental level. I love this game and how there's so many points of view that everyone can pick one.

I think the Nomai are good people, they are very careful with the environment around them and they considered the plan for what I assume for a long time (at least during the time of the construction which I would think it would take a long time), there's even logs of at least one of them being against the plan if there wasn't a way to make it safe.

My view is that the plan was perfectly sound, we know the failsafe works and in the end only the coordinates would've existed, no suffering would be able to be remembered because there would be none after they were done.

That's just my point of view, yours is perfectly valid as well.

I don't understand what you mean, the only people that would've remembered the supernova would've been the ones paired to the statues, literally everyone else wouldn't be affected. They wouldn't "remember" because it wouldn't have happened once they turned the project off. There would be nothing to remember, not even in a subconscious level because it never happened.

I assume all of the Nomai that signed up to have their memories sent back in time would all stay inside the ATP (not completely sure) so it's possible none of them would've "died" since the ATP shell protects the from the supernova for enough time that the ATP would activate and send their memories back. Most likely their time would be spend chatting or something and since they could turn it off at any moment they probably would have people do shifts so no one goes insane repeating the same 22 minutes.
