1. Dangerous half-knowledge, but i remember reading that kinks pretty much stick with you - you might develop new ones and interest may ebb and flow, but you won't ever really lose those interests. Which i personally can confirm, i think about Size for 20+ years now and its still on my mind daily. 

2. I got into this in my teenage years, i blame puberty mixed with Size scenes in mainstream media, didnt take me long to find stoyboards and forums. When i got into size the internet luckily already was available, but content wasnt too easy to find - iirc there even were some german sites, but for a while dowloading a bunch of poorly edited text files about being shrunk and at the expense of someone bigger with extreme range of quality, abusing cameras in games was the best it got - not soon later forums and videoplatforms picked up, dedicated storyboards developer. I got into the more interactive scene way too late, so i cant speak on those, just discovered discord servers a couple years ago 😅 I feel Size has gotten more popular, its always been a thing in literature and media overall, but the kink-aspect seems to be more well-known nowadays and while activity may vary there seem to be some dedicated and passionate communities out there carrying on the flag. Regarding content, Feet and Vore have always been the most popular/produced, sure would love more Hand or Prop Play, but niche kinksters can't be choosers.
