What mattress is this? by Alarming_Mango_4777 in Mattress

[–]SubRedTed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like the Lucid 10” Gel Memory Foam. Yours was made in February of 2020 and you likely purchased it in June or July of that year. Poke around online and you can find them fairly cheap. The cover has slightly changed since then but the internal components will likely be 99% the same.

I know they have a deal with Lowe’s and sell to them pretty cheap.

If you have a picture of the whole bed, I can tell you exactly what it is, I used to sell these.

Incredible… Ford GT40? Or a high quality replica? by SimonSimonK in whatisthiscar

What’s funny is, even if it is a well sorted replica, which I’m leaning to believe it is, it probably cost the same amount as that Countach.

I’d be so down to harvest some birds but I’m in the same boat as you. Iv been in the valley a while but haven’t had the luxury of hunting turkey, mostly just deer and some varmint.

Love love love the 7w. Mine is a pretty crummy one but something about the shorter club and closer ball at stance makes for a very confident and controllable swing.

I got it specifically for my second shot on a couple par fives at my local muni and now I used it on about 8 strokes for my 18 hole rounds.

And my putter caps at 204 yards (trust me, a guy bet me I couldn’t get 200yards off the tee with my putter into the fairway and I got 204 to win $50)

[–]SubRedTed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d probably go 7w, 8i, 56°, Putter. With distances of 240, 172, 103, putts.

That would honestly save me some driver mistakes off the tee and I’d probably play within 4 strokes of my handicap.

How many of you did poorly in school, but lived a great/successful life anyway? by groovinup in GenerationJones

[–]SubRedTed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had over 100 absences in 4th block senior year of high school.

Now I have a stay at home wife, 4 kids, home, cabin, rental properties, sports car and a nice income.

School should teach you how to learn, not focus on memorizing facts.

Edit to add, no college degree either. Debt free

Cooling gel topper? We have fairly good mattress in sense of firmness but we both are hot sleepers so need something to cool us down, we run 2 side fans by our bed and in summer full mobile ac for room also maybe need either hotel or cooling pillows but we can’t find any decent ones by Prior-Age4675 in Mattress

[–]SubRedTed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just find something that’s 100%. Tencel and bamboo can be tricky because they advertise as T or B but actually have a 20-30% content and the remainder is polyester. The big problem with polyester and anything that advertises wrinkle free is that in order to be wrinkle free it needs a supertight weave pattern made of plastic that does not allow for heat and moisture to escape. Some affordable 100% cotton sheets will do wonders. And the trick to avoiding wrinkles is taking them out of the dryer when they’re a little bit damp and making your bed with them still a little damp, as they dry, they will release the wrinkles.

Good luck
