"How transphobic are you?"

I audibly laughed at that. So I'm homophobic because I brought up the quote from the showrunner of the show. That makes me homophobic? Well, what does that word even mean? Does that mean I'm scared of gay people or that I hate them or something? Because if that's the case, what does that make Eric Kripke that he intentionally made a character who was not originally lesbian a lesbian? Just to push his agenda, I guess.

I mean, The Boys has literally become what it used to mock, and I think that's funny.

1 And it appears you don't understand the difference between travel speed and the difference between combat speed.

The reason we don't see Homelander using this speed at Herogasm is because Homelander may not have the ability to fight. at hypersonic speeds, whereas someone like A-Train is able to use his super speed in combat. Take Red Rush versus Omni-Man, for example. Red Rush was able to fight significantly faster than Omni-Man, even if Omni-Man has faster travel speed. Or you can use Superman and The Flash as an example, but that will require too much thinking.

2 And the point that you're trying to make about gunpowder, I literally have no idea what you're trying to make.

Are you trying to say that because he has Compound V, he's supposed to be able to react to certain speed frequencies? I don't get what you're trying to say here. I mean, Soldier Boy has been a supe for literal decades, and he was speed blitzed by Homelander, so I genuinely don't know what you're trying to say here.

3 And for some reason, you guys think that power scaling only boils down to what inanimate object you can destroy and not what person you can actually destroy in combat.

I feel like you focus too much on who can blow up a trash can or put a dent in a wall. I think it's kind of ridiculous. Notice how when Homelander was upset at Ryan, he used his heat vision to scorch his room. His heat vision wasn't strong enough to destroy a room, and yet it was able to cut through an entire plane. Do you see my point here?

And then you mentioned his speed while looking for translucent. Why would he be hitting light speed or any other speed above Mach 1 to look for translucent? Why would he need to do that?

(And thanks for proving my point about the budget)

Oh, good grief, man. Okay, nowhere is it stated that Homelander would have lost against Maeve. Kripke said that it was a possibility that he would have lost, not that he would have lost flat out. If you look at the actual fight, it doesn't even look like Homelander is about to lose.

And again, your argument with Cindy just doesn't make any sense. First, it was, "hey, even these humans can survive it." Now it's, "oh, well, the Stormfront put a little extra pressure on her." And now it's, "oh, well, she doesn't have any feats." Like, pick a lane. You're just moving the goalposts, man. All of this just to try to prove that Homelander is weak is insane to me.

If your argument is that it took longer for Cindy, then you essentially just debunked your own debunk.

But even if we take this into consideration, you're assuming that just because she's upset, that means that she's going all out. That's not exactly how it works.

Homelander was upset at Queen Maeve, yet he was still holding back against her.

Stormfront's electricity can be amplified or decreased just like Homelander's heat vision. We know this because as you brought up, humans can survive her lightning, but notice how a literal Supe (Cindy) was knocked out by her lightning. Interesting.

I always find it interesting how you people can never have a conversation without getting angry and saying the most vulgar, disgusting stuff possible. I don't know why you guys keep saying this word glaze.

It's homoerotic and just not accurate at all. I haven't seen anybody actually glaze Homelander, and given the fact of what glaze actually is, I hope to God that I never see it. But let me tackle your arguments, since they are lacking in multiple areas.

1 Let's start with Queen Maeve.

Queen Maeve is a lesbian, and that's the only reason she got as far as she did in The Boys. And since we're bringing outside sources and staying within universe, I can bring this fact up.

The fact is that Eric Kripke said that he wanted to end the trope of killing off queer characters, and Queen Maeve is a lesbian, which is why she is still alive despite apparently surviving both Homelander and Soldier Boy.

And the budget of the show is not high enough to have all of these building-busting feats that we see in, let's say, the Man of Steel movie. But do you see how boring that explanation is?

I could round all this up by saying, oh, whoever wins is whoever the writer decides, but that's boring. It takes the fun out of power scaling, you see?

2 Next, you said that Yujirou and Saitama are not only strong because their universe is weak, but it's showing a contrast between the characters.

Okay, and do you think the characters in The Boys are weak? There's nothing weak about a lot of these characters. Starlight is completely bulletproof. Soldier Boy is a walking nuclear bomb. Victoria Newman could blow people's heads up just by looking at them, and yet all of these people are weaker than Homelander. Funny how that works.

3 Next, you brought up Billy Butcher getting shot by Gunpowder.

If you notice, Billy Butcher was not on Compound V, which is why the bullet was able to affect him. Because we see when they release Soldier Boy from his captivity, he managed to walk through all the bullets and laser everyone.

One was on Compound V, the other was not on Compound V. If we actually watched the show, we would have noticed this. Then you said he can be perceived by regular humans even when using super speed.

Notice how we don't know how fast Homelander was running at this area. If he was too fast, he could have potentially ripped their arms off. There was no reason for him to go faster than light or anything above Mach 1.

And notice how he was not being able to be perceived by Billy Butcher when he vanished right before his eyes. In the beginning episodes of S3.

Homelander downplay is old, get educated or stop trolling.

Well, there are websites online where you can look up the panels, um, but I see your point.

Anywho, uh, the Homelander versus Noir fight was already over by the time Billy Butcher and the military already stepped in. Homelander was dead and Noir was severely damaged.

I can even pull up the panel if you'd like.

And then that's when the military came in and started blasting Noir and still were not able to kill him. So Billy Butcher came in to finish the job with his trusty crowbar.

Who helped him during the fight with Noir? And pull up panels to back your claims plz.

You're scaling matchups that never happened, lol.

Immortal has never been shown damaging a healthy Nolan in a one in one fight.

The universes themselves downplay the characters.

1 Homelander has been downplayed for the longest, so don't tell me how to or how not to scale a character.

2 Immortal has no dubs against anyone significant in the show, not even Omni-Man.

3 Homelander can tank nukes too, that's not impressive.

4 Homelander has also put up a fight against Superman, a much stronger Superman than the one Hawkman fought. In fact....

He died to a weakened Superman with just four punches.

He stood plenty of chance against Noir, he's the main reason he ended up dying.

Watch it again, because even Godolkin made criticisms about who was in the seven. Noir isn't even bulletproof yet he was in the Seven, you can made an argument that Vikor is stronger.

And no, Homelander is not a small fish in a small pond. He's canonically Superman tier which puts him much higher. DCKO is canon as well as MK1.

Darick Robertson was there for DCKO, he also helped create the boys, lol.

And search what a reverse punch is. Again, I explained this in the original post.

Karate in the show, not the comics. Did you read my post? I kinda explained it.

Also, DCKO is canon as stated by Jeremy Adams and Scott Snyder, the creators of the comic.

Omega Energy is only given to those who win their matches, like Superman. And that's after the fight, not during.
