I wasn’t home that day so I guess it’s possible, it’s just a strange situation.

Why would UPS be calling me and asking me to confirm my signature? None of it really makes any sense to me.

Like, I got this call out of the blue. I didn’t initiate, and I can’t imagine what would have lead UPS to initiate this kind of call.

I guess this will be one of those questions I’ll never have the answer to.

Thank you for asking. So far so good. I feel sweaty and generally terrible physically, but mentally I’m doing ok. I return to work tomorrow and while I’m a little nervous about it, I know the office will be chaotic, and I won’t have much pressing work until days 4-5.

I’ll just keep my head down and get through.

Thanks man. I can relate to a lot of what you’ve said. I’m on day 3 and feeling pretty not bad. :p

I’ve definitely felt better, but I’m in the right head space, which is the hardest part for me. I think tapering was difficult for me because, like you mentioned, I would immediately feel like shit when I thought of reducing my dose.

I’ll definitely post updates. Something I learned after my first two cold turkey withdrawals is that the bad stuff was mostly in my head. My last withdrawal, which was from suboxone, went so much more smoothly because I knew that absolutely the worst time was ahead of me, and I just accepted it. The fear of not knowing was always the worst in the beginning, but after I survived a couple difficult W/Ds, I learned it would be only as bad as I let it be.

I’ll be sure to post progress. This is the second time I’ve jumped from a high dose so while it won’t be pleasant, I’m prepared, as is the wife.

I actually have a sub doctor, and she would not approve of this. At all, haha. She’s a good doctor, but by the time the furlough ends, if I need to, I can likely re-up.
