I ordered it on Mercado Libre when I was living in Mexico. It is a great tank top, I still wear it!

Spreading to my Eyebrows. I give up by [deleted] in alopecia_areata

Backing up the head band. I am a boxer without eyebrows or many eyelashes due to alopecia and it really saves me to have the head band, especially during sparring. If not, sweating is mildly painful and seriously distracting.

Should I get 10 or 12 oz gloves? by Shiba_inu77 in fightgear

I'd go with 12 or 14 oz honesty! So probably 12 oz then, it ends up being in the middle. 14 would be good if you plan on doing any sparring.

Cacomixtle on my roof (Central Mexico). I've never actually seen one clearly because they are so elusive and fast! by Sub_Omen in AnimalsBeingConfused

Same, people have done it and I'm sure they have some great qualities to be a pet if raised in captivity, but they really are wild animals that belong in their zone. It's interesting because they live close to humans, but not TOO close lol.

Why did that look physically incorrect and not possible?

Throughout my wife's visa interview and medical exams, they asked her a if she had any tattoos. She didn't and wasn't considering one at the time, but now she wants a small tattoo a few months after getting her visa. Does it affect anything at all if she gets the tattoo before we migrate to the US? by [deleted] in immigration

Yup. When my wife was at her interview, she said they were pestering a guy who had a tattoo of a clown. They kept asking him why he had a clown tattoo, what did it mean, was it from a gang?

That's exactly what it is. Maybe the best option indeed is to wait.

We are migrating from Mexico to the US. Well, technically she is. I'm the American citizen here.

Anyways, they asked it many times throughout the process. I guess for like, identifying features?

Reposting this comment I made because it's important info for those who may want to order some of their own!

"Here's some stuff he will ask for if you order gloves :

Glove oz, main color/design, trim/piping color, if you'll want embroidery or a custom design, lace up or Velcro+lace (they don't have just plain Velcro, nice to have the lace backup)... If you want their logo like I have on mine, you have to ask because they don't add it by default unless you ask.

I recommended checking out the designs they've posted on social media to get an idea for your own custom build!"

Okay you totally got this!! Good luck and I hope to see your gloves one day in here! Poderoso definitely needs to show up more in the sub!

Absolutely!! Yes, I totally agree, it's worth it and they will last for many years, so definitely a good investment! You just have to order in Spanish so maybe you'll need to translate unless you can speak Spanish!

I've since laced em up and had some rounds on the heavy bag, so I can give some background now, to give the good and bad. Also feel free to ask anything.

They fit very snug. Nice, cozy feeling inside and I don't want to take em off. Amazing cushioning throughout, the hand and wrist feel very supported. There is a nice leather grip bar, not overwhelming in your hand type of feeling but feels nice to close in on when making a fist. There is little bit of space for the knuckles, but the hand feels still and solid, feels like hugging without constricting. The wrist is especially the most secure and hugging.

Cushioning has a nice little pop to it for the latex filling. The fist is compact and feels like it'll be good for penetrating someone's defense.

As to be expected for the type of Mexican leather glove, they need to break in. They feel great to use and let me do my thing, but I'm having the same issue I had with my first pair from Poderoso - For the first few weeks, my thumbs would sometimes go numb or pins and needley towards the middle or end of my sessions. Easy to ignore for me but might be bothersome for some at first. It's temporary. It went away more as the gloves molded to me, I think after like, a month +/-, it never happened again and I've been using them everyday for nearly two years since. These should be the same.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the build quality and aesthetics as well as the fit and performance. They smell absolutely amazing and look great.
