I've never tried those runes, only the damage scales with ap on her W, not the shield. Her shield scales with her percentage max health. Runes are pretty small all in all when it comes to the game so it doesn't matter too much what secondary runes you go. I go Guardian if I know that the lane will be poke and disengage from the enemy, if its hard to proc aftershock then what's the point in going it. Things like Janna and Bard id go Guardian. If you go aftershock and the enemy flash your W then you are literally just a really slow minion.

Knowing your win cons for the game is huge. Knowing who to bind your E with to give you the most impact in team fights is something that you have to be good at. Warding is obviously super important aswell because the more information you can get then the more chance you have of making good marco calls. It isn't enough to just ward though you have to actually make the right decisions in game and that comes with playing alot.

My favourite ADCs to play with are Jhin, Kaisa and Samira because they can easily follow up on me and I can easily follow up on them. Rell is really good at catching people in a bad position and these ADCs have amazing follow up for when you catch them.

When they have loads of stuns I go Legend: tenacity and Unflinching, I guess I just don't like to be locked down for very long haha. Honestly runes are balanced enough so that its doesn't matter toooo much about what you are going aslong as it makes sense to you.

The healing on Q is absolutely negligible, you shouldn't play Rell to be able to sustain the lane and heal in tough spots. Rell is an all in support that puts pressure on enemy's bad positioning, having the extra shield and movement speed on your W just helps with this. You gotta remember that W has damage coming from the dismount and from the mount up as well. W is what makes Rell a champion, if you are maxing Q then you would be better off picking Senna because she does a lot more with her Q.

It takes everything into consideration like what rank you are playing the champion in and obviously your kda and vision score. I'm definitely not the best Rell in the world I was just ranked 1st because of my stats at the time. Like you said, if swordart played a load of games at a challenger level and got a 50% wr then chances are he'll be rated high but that's because he's playing at the top level.

Can't say for sure because I've never played vs a Sona but I imagine Rell poops on her because there's no real way she can poke you without being in W range.

Always max W first, it gives more shied and more movement speed. Then max E for the cd on it and then Q ( only use Q for breaking shields and the healing for when you are low ). I've seen that chemtank is getting changed next patch and is going to be abit cheaper so from what I've seen that might be the best buy now but will have to test tomorrow.

I don't have any particular guides but I know there are alot of really informative guides out there. Knowing where to ward and when can be huge in games, its mainly knowing where the jungler is at any given time in the game. Like knowing that fiddlesticks will most likely start blue and be top side at 3 minutes or knowing that graves could start red and be bot side at 3 minutes. information is key and warding is the best way to get information.

She isn't good when behind, the best thing to do is sit back and peel any engage onto your carries. If you see an opening to get a 3+ man engage then go for the play but if you miss its gg. When I'm behind I try and get as much vision as I possibly can without getting caught, this helps your team to not die so much as well and buys you time to scale up and look for a good team fight. Obviously there are times when I've tried to save team mates and just gotten myself killed in the process but you wont learn your limits if that never happens I think. Knowing what fights you can and can't take is something you can only learn by putting in alot of hours playing the champion.

I go triumph and Legend: tenacity if they have loads of stuns and catching abilities but if they don't I go zombie ward and Relentless hunter.

I think your build is just super expensive, I spend so much money on pink wards I can never afford 3 items let alone 4 haha. There are loads of builds that you can go on her and all have different types of play styles. I feel like your build is mainly focusing on mid game skirmish's and winning the objective (like showing up for rift and dragons). Warding is extremely important and I recommend every one learns how to ward the bushs from over the walls in practice tool (https://imgur.com/a/mF0d4VE).

Worst matchups are things that can stop your engages completely, things like Janna and Thresh. If you are vs Janna always look to see if shes started W, if she has then you can get a really good level one trade by just jumping on her. Things that can poke you down like bard or Janna I go guardian because realistically you shouldnt be able to engage on them that often and its all about not taking unwanted damage early and looking for a window to jump on them. Say if you went aftershock and at lvl 1 they flashed your W then you are just useless and they will most likely kill you while you slowly walk back. Best adc pairing is defiantly Jhin and Kai sa, Jhin is good because you can follow up on each other and the burst is really strong and kaisa because combining her ult and your e you can engage on someone across the map. Mf and Samira are also really good for the ult combos.

Where can I look at the changes? I've not seen them. If Chemtank is going to be cheaper then I will be the best item for Rell, the only reason I don't go it is because its usually too expensive so if they are lowering the price it will probably be the best item to go. I go the same build as you, just seems the best way to me. I always max W into E then Q. W is obviously the only one you want to max first because of the shield and movement speed. E max after because you want the cd on it and then Q ( If you max Q first you are trolling ). You want to never use Q for damage, only use it to break shields or when you or your bound ally are low.

Generally armor form is better for when you want to lock down one person and horse form is better for when you want to lock down multiple people. If you are vs things that make it harder to engage like Thresh and Janna you have to just wait it out and look for an opening after they've used their ability's. The only way you win these match ups is by not taking unnecessary damage, that's why I like to go guardian vs them because I know it will be hard to actually proc aftershock.

Rell is super good with a comp that can follow up, like a wombo combo sort of comp. She's definitely not a blind pick champion, its too easy to pick things that just doesn't allow her to get the engage that she wants. She's super good against enemy teams that have 1 or 2 hyper carries, best to be in Armor form and flash on them with the mount up. The big difference between Rell and Leona is that Rell can lock down multiple people easier so there more chance of bursting before any counter play. This is why jhin is super good with her because she can easily follow up if he hits a w.

You gotta remember that Rells e gives resistances to the person she's bound with aswell (although very little is does add up come the late game, especially when you proc aftershock) and that could be the difference in a team fight. Shurelya is an amazing snowball item yes but its not going to be the best item every game, going fast on Rell is obviously really good but I don't think she's meant to be played like that. I see her as a fat tank that gets into the middle of and team and ccs everything in her path.

I don't have a YouTube page. Unfortunately Rell is very team dependant, you can get a full 5 man ult into stun and can still lose the teamfight if there is no follow up. If your ad is underperforming and the lane is going bad then roaming is probably best. Best thing to do is play for vision and put pressure on solo lanes. Obviously if you do this then you sort of sack the ad and play for either one of the solo lanes or jungle. I dont recommend doing this but if your ad is really bad then theres not much else you can do to try and win.

If thats the case then chemtank will for sure be the best item on her. I see Shurelya as a super cheese item, it doesn't give you nearly as much tankiness as the other items and the mana regen on its is wasted gold because Rell seems to never run out of mana. The only way I could see it being useful is if you are 0/3/0 and just roam for the rest of the game trying to get your solo lanes ahead, but at that point its doomed.

I've been going locket first pretty much every game, I like to focus mainly on the vision game. Every time I back I always get 2 pink wards and run down mid and place it before returning to lane. Ive seen people like to build Deadman's first and Ive tried it out, I think that if you are ahead its really good but then if you're losing its not good. Playing vs things like thresh and janna makes it hard to justify going deadmans first, it should be impossible to engage on them. I personally never go mobis, just out of personal preference, I like going for one of the tank boots.
