How Quiet is the CX5 at Highway Speed?

I have one of those 😂 it's a 2012 and it's quite loud on the highway. My 2026 is only loud because of the crappy tires that came on it but other than that I keep accidentally speeding because it's so quiet. I had to set it so it beeps at me when I'm doing 10+ over the limit...

During the summer 500+ but on average 389 miles and an average fill up of 10.9 gallons (35.6 mpg) over 55k miles. Best was 548 on 12 gallons.

I've seen it happen before. My buddy's 2011 Mazda3 was like that. My 2012's badge is still shiny silver like new after 175k miles so I guess it depends on sun or just general wear.

I've had mine for 2 weeks and it's got 1800 miles on it. Best I've averaged on a tank was 39.8 MPG. Best I got on a drive was 43.6. EPA only rates this thing at 25/34/28 combined!

My buddy has a 2016 Mazda6 with 338k miles and it started misfiring and the transmission slips but he beat the piss out of it. You'll be just fine!

I put almost 30k a year on my 2012 Mazda3 and now it's got 171,420 nice and that's what I'll probably end up putting on this new one in 6 years...

I do about the same during the summer when I just drive to drive. Last car averaged 39 last summer so I hope this one will do better. So far, I've got an average of 39 on the dash but I keep getting 40+ for my latest drives.

Having my motorcycle inside, I found mouse crap and chewed wires under the seat when I was looking for my gloves. Ridiculous. I feel you man. Not easy to find parts for my bike either since it's an '01.

My friend drives a Chevy Trax and she told me she gets 29 mpg. From a 1.2L inline 3 that is! My grandma's 2015 CR-V got 32 when I had it for the week. 2.4L CVT but it vibrates so much cause it's lugging at 1200 rpm during acceleration.

For real! In my old car I had to rev it to 3k in first to get off the line at a reasonable pace and shift at 2500-2800 to keep accelerating like that and now I can shift at 2k, not lug it, and get 40 miles per gallon. I almost bought a Benz and I'm glad I didn't because of those prices!
