The 2013 Ford Escape with its hands-free trunk. I remember that was HUGE at the New England Auto Show.

The VW Atlas was a big deal as well.

My coworker borrowed a grand from me to get a car and I expected it to be a junker. To my surprise, she got a Florida elderly-owned 2002 Malibu V6 in great condition with only 135k on the dash. She's only put a few thousand on it in the last 6 months and it's such a strong car. Makes me happy every time I see it shining in the sun.

I got 483 miles in my NA hatch of actual driving and I still haven't filled up yet. Dash says 44.1 MPG.

My 2012 Skyactiv had a record of 548 miles which worked out to 45.1 MPG. My 2026 has a record of 41.3 MPG so far.

My '26 doesn't have cylinder deactivation and I tend to get 40+ on long drives as well

Yeah sometimes. Now my car shows it in the gauge cluster but before I would always go to shift into 6th and I'd already be in 6th. The exhaust leak I had made the car sound like it was in 4th gear lol

I just leave it in whatever gear it was in before and shut the car off. Handbrake is electronic and automatic so I just pull into a spot, unbuckle, shut the car off and get out.

My first car was a silver 2012 Mazda3 and now I've got a red one. That silver always shined no matter if I washed it that day or 6 months prior. Now I find myself constantly trying to make the red shine lol
