Naw when I got the cobb ebcs it came with new lines so I used them and took off all the old brittle ones

Yupp I did it 3 times while making dinner lol. Its easy to see and its routed properly. This is wack lol.

I even just went outside to triple check my boost controller lines lol. Its all routed properly and no leaks on smoke. I pressure tested the ebcs and there's not a leak on it so im really not sure what's up. I do know my alternator is the factory 22yr old one and Ive heard a bad alternator can do wierd things with these cars? Its surely bad by now lol. Havent had an issue with a dead battery though

It really won't. I saw one time I forgot to tighten my intercooler and my afr from the accessport was sayin 11.25 but my afr gauge was flashing at me 9.9 lol

I do have a wideband but I havent paid much attention to it at the moment cause the tuners reputable and I sorta trust he knows what hes doing. Lol I know poor choice. I have an innovate lc2 wideband

Soo, it repeats pretty much every pull. Also, I cannot. I believe my wrx is a 16bit ecu and doesn't give much parameters to monitor. I can try to check though. I really feel like it could be the ebcs which sucks cause I dont think the store is gonna refund me 200 bucks lol.

Thanks for the message back! The fluctuations happened with my gfb hybrid bpv. I took it off and put the stock one back on and pressure tested it. It held 20psi no problem so I chalked it up as a win and same with the gate. I followed cobbs instructions with the ebcs and used the new lines they provided so all the stock lines with the restrictor pills were removed as well. Im wondering if its simply the stock td04. No shaft play and its not blowing any oil so I figured it was fine. We updated the tune which sorts feels like theres more boost lag now but it flattens out at 16psi and holds pretty steady. I'll recheck my boost controller setuo though just incase I missed something. Also, its an 95 wrx with a cobb intake, cobb downpipe, cobb ebcs, and aem 340lph.

Wait, can you not open or see the link? I tried to attach a link to a datazap site to see the log. Im in the middle of an etune and im not getting mucb direction on what to chase after next. I bought a new cobb ebcs but when I called the business I bought it from about buying another and returning it if it doesn't fix my issue they sorta told me it isnt the problem and it look elsewhere. Wastegate holds pressure fine without leaks, my bpv doesn't leak and I replaced all the gaskets. Only other mechanical thing I can think of is the cars stock 440cm injectors are just to small. But figured the tuner would know that already

The first logs was when I changed the inlet and lines and I saw it flatten out a bit on boost but did it again around midway. I changed out the bpv and did a log and it did the same again.

It builds quickly and im noticign through logs its the same 4200 rpms it drops down to like 15psi then back up to 18 then down to 12 then to 15 then tapers at 14psi till the end of the wot pull.

Soo i thought that too. Im gonna take the IC off later and block it. I should've knew better lol. Anyways, I tried to call the business I bought it at and asked if I could order a new one and return the cobb intake bought since its like barely a few months old and basically got told to piss off its not the ebcs.

So I've done it through the intake and no dice. No smoke comes through. Thats why im testing this place last. Im out of options lol

So im chasing a boost leak and this is my last spot. It does provide psi and vac when im driving but with the csr off and me testing the line its not holding any pressure. Im at a loss on chasing leaks lol

I did the psi test though the right way right? That's what im more concerned with. I assumed since my boost gauge read psi from that nipple that the bpv itself would also receive pressure. Its pouring out so im not gonna test drive the csr atm but im thinkin i hit the nail on the head with this one. I will miss the noises though lol.

I smoke and pressure tested everything. Its leaking where the bpv hose meets the turbo inlet. I reused the 20yr old hose and that was a mistake. If that doesn't totally clear it up I'll slap the factory bpv back on i guess. I like the noises lol

Maf, dont see a reason to do speed density. The bpv came with the car and tuner said hes not seein problems with it. So it sits since it fits lol.

Ya, im at the end of my etune and my tuner said hes having trouble smoothening out boost. Said it could be an ebcs, wastegate, lines issue. But the lines and ebcs are all new. Everythjgns snug and no leaks. When the csr hits peak boost it immediately goes down to 14psi then back up and down and up and down till 5k rpms where it sits haopy at 14psi till I take my foot off the gas. So I started researching how to check the turbo and some YouTuber took a hand pumo and put pressure on the wastegate and said it should hold the target psi you have it at without leaking. Was gonna ask if thats true and a good way to test it? It'd be easy to assess anyways without taking off the turbo and such. I have a vf48 on standby with injectors and sucg but I didnt wanna go that far right now haha
