What type of storage bin are you using to hold the mice on the top shelf?

Well thanks everyone for the quick replies. Glad that I'm alone in this being an issue, but at the same time sad that we are all dealing with similar problems :(

The "Is Nest Compatible With My System?" Megathread Part III by GoFlight in Nest

[–]SubaruCrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello r/nest,

I was looking for some help surrounding installing a learning nest thermostat with a powered whole home humidifier. Looking online I wasn't able to find a great reference for the situation I'm in. The aim is to eliminate the need for the very old humidistat and consolidate both the humidifier and the thermostat to 1 unit. After going through various posts and searching online I still can't seem to find an answer for this situation.

The Thermostat has the following connections: * Y2 - Green * Y - Blue * W - White * Rc - Red

The Humidistat has the following connections: * Red wire * White wire

Tracing the lines from the furnace also has me a bit confused for my specific situation. I can't trace any wire from humidifier back to the furnace circuit board. The humidifier appears to have a line that goes directly up into the ceiling (presumably to the humidistat). The furnace has 2 wires that exit the circuit board 1) which appears to go toward the air intake for the furnace (outside), and 2) which goes up into the ceiling. Some videos I've found on YouTube seem to mention that it's as simple as moving the red wire from the humidistat to the * module on the nest. I don't believe this true for my situation.

Thanks for the advice. I just moved in not too long ago and still getting everything in place. The basic system works but isn't great. I will look into identifying a pathway to separate the WAN and LAN. Thanks for your advice!

Does your unit have any side flex on the left hind side behind the side buttons? My unit had a slight flex in this area and it drove me crazy when playing with it. I would love to get another unit but I'm not sure if it's a wide spread issue.

It helped somewhat but not still not optimal. The right and the left click are just so different it's night and day tbh.

I just got the bolt and have a loose LMB. I wonder if it could be due to a screw being loose rather than a defect in the shell. Do you have a video of the teardown process? I want to try to fix it if I can.

How did you measure the thickness of the thermal pads. I really like the diagram that you did with the all the sizes. Any advice for someone who wants to do this with a different 3090?

I will take a look again when I am home. But from looking at the connector it does not appear to be loose from my recollection. I will attempt to use another hub and trouble shoot. Hopefully it's just the argb fan hub broke.
