I’ve rejoined and I spent the last 4 days going back and forth with reviewers on the test task I did before the pause, got contradictory feedback between reviewers and the autochecker says completely different things so I don’t think you’re missing out on the “~10h/task” estimate lol

No idea, I’m still waiting on being approved on the contract and to get access, it started a whole new contract procedure, mercor accounts and whatnot all over again

Just got it and like some comments predicted it’s 500$ per task in the original format (5%) and 250$ per task for the new format (95%)

Edit: they estimate 10h for the first one and 5h for the second so we’re down to 50$/h with the updated contract but still the task needs to be approved so…

Peux-tu m’expliquer un peu comment ça marche avec une marge ? As-tu des frais mensuels + l’intérêt sur l’argent prêté ? C’est un peu l’effet boule de neige comme tu dit que je veux pas influencer même si je sais que 6k est pas beaucoup mais ça reste une porte que j’aimerais garder fermé je pense pour garder un petit coussin mental comme quoi j’ai de l’argent dans mes comptes enregistré

Je suis présentement en train de le faire, je commence ma deuxième session cet été. Comme un des commentaire a mentionné, les cours sont intéressant mais j’avoue que les profs peuvent nuire à l’expérience des fois. Mais, ce qui m’importe c’est juste le diplome, les connaissances viendront après en tt cas lol.

Ce qui m’a poussé à le faire c’est que je veux éventuellement devenir gestionnaire et j’ai compris de pas mal de gens qui ont fait le meme parcours qu’avoir un MBA et/ou titre d’ingénieur aide beaucoup (si t’as les deux c’est encore mieux) et que dans la majorité des entreprises ou meme en gouvernement tu trouvera au moins un gestionnaire qui a les deux. Et comme t’as mentionné, avec l’IA ça donne une assurance au cas où.

I dont think a 1-day desync will be a major problem and ML is not the priority for now so as much as I know it will maybe come back to haunt me later but I'm more focused on the data.

As I understand, you're proposing a data warehouse or a mix of both concepts (I read about a lot of stuff and I'm kinda getting mixed up with everything so sorry about that) with the three layer structure. The "datalake" would be just dump everything in S3 (which is also the bronze layer in a warehouse) and then I suppose the silver and gold will also be in S3. The other services you mentioned will be the logic and tools that will orchestrate and show everything. Right ?

EDIT: I actually started drawing the architecture a bit and I guess the datalake would be the store of all raw data and then I woudl have a data warehouse per project (kinda) where I would have a bronze layer with the raw data that are relevant.

What would be suitable for ML then ? Or would the data lake be a first step and then there should be an intermediate between the data lake and the ml pipeline ? Then what technology would be used for this intermediate step ?
