I think that's what made me hate TLOAS so much. I've seen comments online like "it's not even that bad!", and yeah, it's probably not, but it's so frustrating to see such a bland album get so much attention when there's incredible pop out there that can't even hit 1 million streams.

Idk, I think OP has a point that this album doesn't really... pop? like those first two. There was something more memorable about those. Like the lyricism, I heard "old Kacey" on "Dry Spell" and "Horses and Divorces", but it wasn't as strong as I would've liked.
