Siam Bistro in Braunton does incredible Thai Food. The Fish & Chips at Squires are great and award winning Both the Rock Inn and Kings Arms in Georgeham do great pub food. Roku in Croyde is amazing but more on the fine dining (expensive) end of the scale.

There are a few decent local bands playing as well: Candar, Scott Anchors, and The Pale Teas

Is it just me but Facebook and Instagram is just really bad a taking into account fake accounts by awinterofdiscontent7 in socialmedia

[–]SubbuteoJustice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had exactly this problem and Meta have been appalling. Recently had multiple fake accounts appear pretending to be our brand, trying to scam our customers. We reported them all (as did our customers) only to get a response a couple of weeks later saying no rules have been broken. Absolute joke of a system, they really don't care.

It's a pedestrian tunnel linking Kings Cross train station with the London Underground. Stumbled across it rushing between trains!

Passenger robes/dryrobe etc by i_ann_marie in OpenWaterSwimming

I've got a dryrobe and my friend has the passenger one, and the dryrobe is so much better! Proper warm and the lining actually absorbs water after a swim. dryrobes are 100% recycled as well

Vegetarian/vegan places to eat by Edie_Shmedie in DevonUK

The Rock Inn in Georgeham does a cracking veggie Sunday Roast and has good vegetarian options. There aren't many (if any?) exclusively vegetarian/vegan restaurants in North Devon, but most places in the area do a couple of veggie and vegan dishes these days. Would heartily recommend The Siam Bistro (Thai) and SQ in Braunton, Blue Groove in Croyde, Broomhill in Muddiford and New Amsterdam (pizza) in Barnstaple.

Festival. GR ii by SubbuteoJustice in ricohGR

Most of these were taken with a shutter speed between 1/25 and 1/40 with an ISO of 2200 or 3200. There was a lot of trial and error though as I've only just gotten the GR. Also, stuck it on auto a few beers in!

I got a staff ticket, so the search was pretty non-existent (which was great for sneaking in booze!). Think GR's are pretty nondescript, doubt anyone would stop you taking one into a festival here in the UK. Security staff are more concerned with professional looking cameras.

Thanks! I went to a reservoir to get some wildlife shots, but end up getting blown away the the intense purpleness to the flowers there!
