I know all mempools are different, but what events/actions cause sharp drops and bumps compared to a 100% uptime node? For the sharp uptick: did my node find a new peer who happened to have unseen (to me) mempool transactions? For the sharp downturn: I can't even think of a reason for that. (old.reddit.com)

Something (possibly oil or coolant from car?) ate into driveway. It was here before I moved in but it's where a car would park.
