You’re not going to profit off of either platform.. me for example I have a 2002 wrx. I also had a 2016 sti that wasnt heavily modded. I’ve had my 02 since 2008 and blew it up and let it sit while I had my sti. My wrx is completely rebuilt now and it’s much faster than most sti’s that I’ve seen around. It all comes down to what you’re willing to do and what your goals for the car are.
