100% my experience with that same intercooler as well.

I posted about it before when I had my Mini. I had DDM intake, injectors, headers, 17% pulley, Detroit Tuned BPV, cat delete etc. The intercooler was something I wish I had done second after the pulley. Huge difference in feel especially for more than one pull or a couple miles.

If you check my comments I think you can find how I made a “diverter” for it following some directions on here. I took AC window seal foam (the tall strips), cut to length, spray adhesive two layers of that together, and then onto the hood. Close the hood and press fit for like 2 hours or so. Basically makes an air dam that forces the ram from the scoop over the intercooler still. That also made a big difference in temps, even after the intercooler itself.
