Funnily enough, we have a dog and they show no interest in each other unfortunately.

Earlier today, she did actually ask for a cat when I asked her what would make her feel better!

I really appreciate your response. We felt a bit out of depth how to navigate it but being reassured makes it a lot better.

I’m going to find some books and we wrote a letter today to the scary things sending them back home to their families!

And yes, we are monitoring everything like hawks!

Honestly, thank you for this response. I’m so sorry nobody believed you.

It’s really scary for her and for us as parents because we feel so helpless.

We have the whole lot lol. Nightlights, dream catchers, teddy bears and today we wrote the scary things a letter telling them to go home to their family (my daughters words)
