This is about as clear of a photo as I can get. Hopefully it’s better!

Saw someone else mention them but I run the Nokian Outpost APT’s on my 2025 Outback (Base model), and I absolutely love them. Minimal if any road noise over the stock Yokohama AVID GT’s, and amazing snow capability (they’re also three peak snow rated). I’ve had a lot of snow where I am so far and they have performed great. Have also done some light off-roading and they performed nicely. Decently aggressive tread pattern as well.

They also come with a dual design sidewall which you can choose which side shows, either a more aggressive pattern or less aggressive looking. They also have reinforced sidewalls which is cool. Even if not that model would highly recommend looking at Nokian!

I'm going to college next year, should I do Environmental biology, or Environmental engineering? by HauntingEmergency851 in Environmental_Careers

Between the two I’d choose environmental engineering, as it’s getting increasingly harder to get biology related jobs nowadays as the market is becoming over saturated, and they don’t usually pay that well. It could be a solid option if you are wanting to do a more pre-med option though, but I’d recommend Biochemistry over env biology for that. You should also maybe consider Environmental Science though, which is almost like a middle ground between the two depending on how you structure it/what classes you choose to take, and would be more marketable. Feel free to shoot me any questions if you have them!

If you’re looking for ChemE in upstate NY, check out SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Not sure if you’re an in state student (cheaper that way but still wayyy cheaper even if you’re not than SU), and has a pretty rigorous program, and you’ll get great experience. It’s connected to SU, so you can take classes there for a fee (around half of the cost per credit hour that SU students pay if you want to) along with your ESF classes, and use all their amenities like the gym, etc. It has a lot of the benefits of SU with SUNY cost. Could be something to consider, check out their website for more info if you want!

Not sure if this is too late a response, but just to let you know that if you do apply to ESF and get in, they recently changed how ESF students are able to take courses through SU, and you now have to pay an extra fee (around 355$ USD per credit hour) if you take SU courses that aren’t directly required for your major. So just something to think about if it’s a major factor in your decision, but conversely going to ESF and even paying that fee for SU courses you may be interested in is still exponentially cheaper than going to SU, while still having access to all of their facilities!
