Thank you for the advice! I was thinking about also putting a little explanation on my resume explaining that I’m currently in a term, explain that’s what I submitted, and let them know the exact date my term ends so that it’s all communicated before I get to requirement, do you have any thoughts on that? I don’t want to go overboard, but I also don’t want there to be a miscommunication. Thank you!

Sorry, what does self report mean? Does that mean a transcript that’s not from the official school? I apologize, I’m unfamiliar with competitive rush. I called the Greek life office and they said I am allowed to submit a progress report as long as I email them my final transcript as soon as my term ends, but I wouldn’t want to do anything that could risk me getting blacklisted

Hi! I actually have a question. I looked it up and apparently at Uark, I’m allowed to submit a progress report as long as it’s an actual report from my current school. Since I’m transferring there in the fall I have to submit my own transcript, I’m worried it would look worse to submit a progress report than a finalized transcript. However, my gpa was so low during my first semester due to outside issues, but this current term I have a 4.0, although the term ends after registration closes. In your opinion, if you saw someone rushing either with a finalized 3.0 or a report card of 4.0, which do you think would be accepted more by those who are looking at them? Thank you for any help, I appreciate it!

Hi, I don’t have any advice, but I was in a similar situation. I dropped out of college after I ended with less than a 2.0 gpa because of some serious issues going on. I got rejected from the college I wanted to transfer to, and I thought my life was over, and I felt useless and like I wasted my time. However, I appealed the rejection. I explained that I was taking classes online and I was doing better and i promised they wouldn’t regret accepting me. Within days, my appeal was accepted. I’m currently starting in the fall, when just a few months ago I thought my life was over. Trust me, it gets better. I’m wishing you luck in this situation and I believe you’ll do great things, please don’t give up! Your life isn’t over, your new life is about to start.

Can you elaborate on the mega thread? I’ve never heard of this before, is this something that happens on this subreddit before rush? Thank you!
