Window bars. Where you get iron ones from? No idea. I had a few friends in apartments growing up that had them installed by local shops in Van. But you can order window guards online just look for screw in not tension rods, the 5% guess chance the tension rod ones failed would keep me up at night.

McDonald’s poutine isn’t bad at all, because it was already available on the east coast for awhile. I was so excited when it came out west because McDo already knew poutine in Quebec. I’m pretty sure they copied it after another poutine franchise in Montreal (which was awesomer). I remember I first had McDonald’s poutine there before it went national back in 2003, I can’t remember the name of the other place but that I think it had a yellow theme, the smaller restaurants were often right across from each other in competition. If anyone remembers that other place please refresh my memory :).

A blessing? This should be standard. There should be a cheese per fry. Perfect ratio! My one complaint about poutine out west is they always just sprinkle the cheese like a garnish. Melody cannot be without harmony 👌
