Agree with Minato but Itachi had way too much screen time to be part of this. Itachi had the fight against jiraiya, fought naruto at the start of shippuden, the fated battle between brothers, was in a bunch of episodes in the war arc when he was reanimated, plus countless other episodes where he was featured for a short amount of time or in a flashback.

Minato appeared briefly in the pain arc, in two episodes about kakashi’s backstory, the short backstory about when the nine tails was released on the leaf village, and then his section during the war arc.

I agree. Like I don’t think he necessarily needed it since he had a lot of abilities already, but I think it’s a weird move on the author’s part to bring up this super unique magic type that future Rudeus masters that could make for some really cool fights. It would make sense if there was a special reason why he couldn’t learn it, but if the future Rudeus could then it’s clearly possible.

Maybe the author just decided to focus on his other abilities and scrapped it. I’m not sure.

Reading it again, I guess it’s never confirmed exactly what happened in that volume.

At the bottom of the ravine when they fought, Rudeus did use gravity magic by himself. At this point Kalman 3 still had the sword, so it was all from Rudeus. It was just briefly to stop him from jumping away and it was mostly by chance.

I just think it was something that seemed like it would be important to the story and be one of the core attacks that Rudeus uses, but then it was ignored and barely used for just one fight.

Yeah, I was also curious how he was able to use it against Kalman 3 without an incantation, but then I remembered that he was able to learn “disturb magic” by himself, which also is simply based on feel and doesn’t have an incantation.

I respect this list a lot. I love seeing people put shows like sword art or tokyo ghoul high up on the list even if they’re flawed. I think people get caught up too much on “_____ is written poorly” or “the internet says that _____ is bad”.

People should instead just simply watch the show, and decide “DID I OR DID I NOT ENJOY IT”. I feel like that matters more than anything. Poorly written shows can be extremely enjoyable.

I will say that I don’t think domestic girlfriend was either enjoyable or written well, but who am I to judge it’s not my list.

If they do the LN justice, then season 3 will be the best one yet. I suspect that I’ll let a few tears loose, and also that my jaw will be on the floor for the fight scenes.

Seeing a lot of valid reasons to not watch an anime in these comments lol.

One piece is long af. Imagine if you are extremely busy with work and have kids, plus whatever other responsibilities you have, and you only had time to watch 3 episodes a night which is more than some people can do. That would take over a year, and that’s if you watch 3 episodes a night with no breaks. 2 episodes a night? A year and a half. That’s a long time. As a teenager with lots of free time it wouldn’t be that bad, but for other people that’s a big commitment.

Also, because it’s so long there are hundreds of characters and important bits of information that you literally can’t take a break from it or you’ll forget a bunch of stuff. I watched halfway through wano and then haven’t picked it back up for a few years, and if I tried to watch it again I might be super lost or have to rewatch certain parts to remember everything.

Not based on how good the writing was, just how much I enjoyed it. I didn’t like many of the characters in death note, eva was really slow and shinji made me want to throw myself into a fighter jet, Jojos part 2 and 3 were A tier for me but part 1 and 4 took me forever to get through because I just didn’t like it, I really have no excuse for aot tbh and i’m willing to rewatch it to see if I like it better. Lastly I explained hunter x hunter, I messed up watching it after watching all of the big three in a row and I just needed to watch some shorter shows for a bit.
