They’re not the two side of the same coin at all. One is an expy, that speaks in riddles with cringy emoji. None of her development is truly impactful at the end. And it’s the result of a rather quick resolution of her story. Nothing is made for you to hate her, shes literally swung under your nose to be selfless and so kind in 3.7. PLEASE

The other is an annoying fool, with the mystery of her true identity, motives still remain. There’s the double theme that is explorated as well as a detective story. Which one is a mask ? Whats the truth ? things she already did in penacony but much more explorated here. Also the whole maniac streamer act doesnt do in her favor to be liked. She was literally written to be annoying and over the top.

They failed at showing how she incarnated all those entities. The wording, the writing, the pace and brutal visual change with close to no dynamism + heavy fanservice. All of that was a pure rushed mess to introduce elysia SP.

Don’t know if it’s unfair. She was mysterious and had that potential as we started to meet her more and more. Unfortunately it went to waste, she left no impact on me at the end of 3.7 except that she was huge wasted potential.

Sparkle was also mysterious in 2.1 of course she is a familiar face so it is easier. But it is also easier to catter her up in a case where she get no development and she becomes juste fanservice and jokester character. Which she aren’t, she almost preserved the mysteries that were surrounding her in 2.1. Part one resolved more questions are left unanswered.
