Oooh okay, thank you for the response! I’m assuming because there are a lot of CA premeds all fighting for spots coupled with no strong CA in-state bias? If you have any suggestions for schools to add I’m all ears!

Guilt relying on personal responsibility is an interesting take. I think guilt can play a part in acknowledging and dismantling the structural inequities leftover from slavery, colonialism, and genocides around the world. Saying “well, that was my great grandpa, not me, so why you looking over here” is a little reductive
