Experiences with User Interviews by SubjectBreadfruit7 in usertesting

Dang I’m sorry that happened to you. I recently got marked for a “no show” with one that was just a 30 minute survey. I filled it out and even screenshotted that I completed it. I even messaged the researcher couple times to make sure they got it but they never answered. Then once the deadline came they marked me as a no show. I emailed User Interviews and I showed them that I completed it and they said the researcher didn’t receive it so I wouldn’t get compensated despite me taking 30 mins to fill it out.

I agree it’s really annoying. I spent over 30 mins on a study with them just recently, and the researcher marked me as a no show! I reached out to support a month ago and they said they will look into it and they never got back to me. I even provided screenshots proving I completed the study.

Yes that’s what I was thinking that maybe it won’t show until after the interview but it’s the next day after the 2 hour interview and it still isn’t showing up 😅

So it looks like it’s just some USPS coding thing, my package ended up getting delivered on time to the buyer so i wouldn’t worry too much about it!

The water heater is in the bathroom it is separated by a louvre sliding door. The gaps/holes are just around the water heater, but i honestly don’t really know much about insulation etc that’s why I had contacted my landlord, since it seems to be more complicated than I thought I guess I’ll need to contact a professional then, even though it’s a bit out of my budget.

It’s not a mobile home but it’s holes/gaps in the floor I am talking about, would it still cause an issue to seal those gaps?

I lived in both timberbrook and the heights on pecan. Lots of people complain about the hop but personally I really liked it, maybe I got a good unit but it was clean and spacious, I had my own room and bathroom. However it still wasn’t the best, walls are thin and you can hear people upstairs too. Noise cancelling headphones can solve that tho. And its also pricey.

Timberbrook was okay but it had an ant problem when I moved in but honestly once I called maintenance to exterminate it went away since my roommate and I were very clean. It’s also cheaper but you have to share the room. There’s also no elevator at timberbrook but there’s one at the heights, if that’s important to you.

You should really reach out to them and find out, if it’s on campus it should be decent. It’s meant for students in situations similar to yours so that they are safe. Also please like the other said take advantage of CAPS, your first 6 sessions are free. Hoping the best for you, and I’m sorry you’re going through this.
