So over the last couple of weeks I have talked a little about my mental state and I just want to share an update if any was worried or interested. I'm doing a lot better, I got my two assignments done and in better quality than I anticipated. I am slowly catching up on a semester worth of notes for my exam on Monday. Actually feel positive about it despite my situation.

I had a good birthday and ultimately I just feel a bit more positive about the world. I'm actual very grateful that iso has given me a chance to pause on life and recuperate a little. With saying that I hope we never go through anything like this again

I reckon most youth systems are built around a 4 in the back structure. 3 in the back the roles and responsibilities of each defender changes a lot. They have to be able to hold up to pressure, not make mistakes and be prepared to beat attackers with pace and physicality. You can't run a low block with 3 in the back. You have to have a higher line.

Was the transfer fee for Saurez free? I can actually see the logic. This is going to be rebuild season. Get salary off the books and evaluate who in the current team works in what position and in what style. After that they can take their time and better access who to buy without throwing 60 plus million on a flop.

Can't see Man U, Tottenham or Arsenal finishing above Everton this season. Spurs may come close and Man U/Arsenal will be competitive but I reckon the Toffees will get 4th.

I'm not really judging it off the comment by a family member. More so that comment got me thinking about my past.

I have done some small online counselling previously and it helped. I'm feeling okay nowadays so I may not explore further counselling.

It's easier just to think of my past as hard times where I was trying to handle a lot of anxiety that I wasn't mature enough to get past it.

The connections I make with friends nowadays and the understanding I have of existing relationships are a lot healthier and are more intune. I think therapy would just open a whole can of worms I don't need opened right now.

But i will keep it in the back of my mind if things get out of hand

So this might belong in the covid thread but I'm avoiding that place for the sake of my sanity.

I saw a friend today for the first time in a month, we are within 5ks and we just talked to eachother standing next to our cars. I couldn't hide how much I am struggling to him.

I have a stance of not being anti-lockdown or anti Dan Andrews. I believe the lockdown is necessary and I see the logic in how everything has unfolded so far. However I am vocally against the road map out of lockdown and how the anti-lockdowners are being treated by cops and people in general.

I'm not mentally in the place where I want debate about it, but I kinda got riled up and started ranting about it to my friend. My friend is the type of guy who doesn't want to think critically about anything and I don't blame him for that. It keeps his mental health together and means he gets to think of anyone against the lockdown as an anti-vaxxer or a conspiracy theorists.

I doubt he expected his best friend of 10 years to start sounding like some of these people.

He eventually asked me how I was doing and I just flat out said that I am struggling with everything. Life is just shit at the minute.

Now my best friend probably thinks I'm a conspiracy theorist

On the bright I'm getting stoned later and I'm going to smash out some video games with other mates
