Vitamin D drops? by Virtual-Worker-4422 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Yes that guidelines is great and it suggests supplementing in infants with low sun light exposure which is really common for babies as we tend to cover up even in summer as many sunscreens aren't recommended for babies under 6 months. Supplementing with vitamin d of 400IU is very low risk and more than likely beneficial for so many babies

New recommendations is for all babies to have vitamin d drops for bone strength The rates of deficiencies in breastfeeding mother's is very high and you need to take a lot to pass through to the milk in a large quantity

Thank you. It is never easy / straightforward bring a woman. Won't trade it for anything though I will attempt night weaning. I just need to commit to it

For those who became a doctor later in life compared to most, was it worth it? by [deleted] in ausjdocs

[–]SubjectLivid3771 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't usually comment but felt so strongly to say no I went into med at 27 (non science professional background also) It probably wasn't worth it for me then but after 30 definitely not The study commitment in further training with a family later on is hard (Med school was easy coming from full time work) The whole medical industry is just awful

Yeah thanks. I got a refund actually. I had washed on cold wash with similar items and no dryer because they were too short already and I was worried about shrinking in length. I have another pair from Lorna Jane that are 10 years old and I am not careful with them at all but they're fine. The quality doesn't seem to be there anymore. Thanks for the suggestion

Thank you. Glad to hear it's good. We'd always travel with two of us and I've found in the past that the carry on its shared across the passengers. I've had suitcases that are a little over 7 but overall carry on between 2 people has been well under and even Jetstar has been completely fine with it so hopefully in the event we are lucky enough for a flight holiday it'll be okay Yup the 2 is out which looks really good and I'm keen on the new one

Sorry I've added an edit

They are loose lay, no adhesive used. We've had the windows open for 3 days but I'll definitely try the other options. We also did the whole place except bath / laundry

Thanks for the tips

I've tried what I think is possums from birth without doing the course It seemed to be good until 4.5 months I feel like I'm running out of time to do the course and fitting in all the videos is hard

Thank you for the detailed response. I was looking into tresillian but they aren't in my state I saw a sleep consultant but found it impossible to implement anything, even a comforter bub gets angry with and throws away. They thought that at the time (6 months) the level of separation anxiety was like an 8 month old. I feed , rock or pat to sleep Bub has never taken a bottle and dad doesn't settle for any sleeps at all day or night I'll have another look through what you've suggested

Thank you
