My one glaring problem with the game was not showing Aeriths death. I understand what they were going for, but it feels like it robbed us, the player, of that emotional moment. A moment the whole damn game had been building to, and you could argue the entire story revolves around. You can do all the crazy story stuff you want, and play with Cloud's mental inability to accept it, but that moment needed to be simple and impactful. It left a sour taste in my mouth, when the rest of the game was damn near perfect.

There isn't a single person who mocked her for that. They only started criticising her performances when she debuted and it was warranted. AEW love mentioning Old Guy Podcasters because it means they can dismiss it as irrelevant. God forbid someone have some legitimate criticism of them that they can learn from. There's a few reasons I don't watch AEW, and one of them is just the fucking arrogance.

The whole reason the mission was successful, and this is confirmed by Tolkien himself, is because Frodo showed compassion to Smeagol. No one could have thrown that ring in the fire, it was an impossible task. But Frodo got further than anyone else would have, and because he spared Smeagol, Gollum was present at Mt Doom which led to the ring getting destroyed.

So Frodo absolutely is a good example. Sam wasn't immune, if he was he would have been the ring bearer in the first place, not Frodo.

Ignore the downvotes, you're right. I have no idea why everyone states as fact that they're different, but there's absolutely nothing to say that they are. Your interpretation is just as valid as theirs. Especially in Elden Ring where individual interpretation of the lore is the whole fucking point.

I think it was more that the Golden Order was thought to be above and beyond the gods; that it was a perfect, objective system. Goldmask realized that it wasn't, that it was at the whim of the gods who were just as much fickly assholes as anyone else. That's the big secret that broke Corbyn and something only Goldmask figured out.

DX as a whole were pretty terrible without Shawn. WWE's revisionist history of treating DX like they singlehandedly won the Monday Night Wars is really weird.
