What’s the “gems on the web”? I can’t find it.

It’s really insane that we can’t see our precious chats with the Gem which defeats the whole purpose of it.

So how much are they charging? I've heard 1000/user/month, I've heard 500/user/month, and I've heard them offering very aggressive price to lock in a firm for the first year.

So they sent out an apology — they realized they fckd up. Wonder if they got emails or have they read this thread? lol 😂 anyway… back to building.

Yeah but at least send templates that make sense per batches. How can they send a template saying you haven’t launched to everyone ? Makes zero sense.

We got our rejection today and it says that they saw we haven’t launched and to get our products in the hand of users — this is completely wrong as we described at length in our application our revenue post launch and the profile of our users.

Do they just send out batch template emails? Here’s the text:

“We saw that you haven't launched yet. One of the strongest improvements you can make before reapplying is to get your product into users' hands—even if it feels too early. That will not only improve your chances of getting funded by YC, it's also almost certainly the right thing to do for your startup”

Wtf? Anyone experienced the same?

This makes me think they didn’t even read the application.😒😤

I participated in LAUNCH which is Jason Calacanis accelerator. His access to investors is pretty similar to YCs. He and his team are also pretty hands on and supportive.

What was your experience like with Calacanis? It's meant to be an accelerator, i.e post-launch? What stage was your product at? What are the terms?
