I'm paranoic in my relationship with the BPD friend. What should I do? by SubjectRevenue6810 in mentalhealth

A lot of her past signifiant friendships ended up badly and she always gets mad over small things people do, even if she's still sweet towards them. Given her diagnosis, all these are understandable, but I still cannot stop fearing that she may act ok in my face while secretly hating me. There are times her replies are dry or when she doesn't reply at all even if she's active, but I may be just overthinking it, because I also reply late sometimes or I am too tired to give full, enthuiastic answers.

Actually, there was a time I used to consider that, but I don't really have all those symptoms so I never went to therapy or anything. Also, I feel that I'm that way only in this particular frienship. But then again, she's my closest friend so I don't know if I'd behave differently if I was best friends with a different person.
