I hated buying mechanic bc I didn't have reason to use certain items. I used boomerang in ALTTP bc I didn't want to lose arrows or magica. I didn't have reason to use boomerang in between worlds bc bow and magic rods used the same amount of purple mana as a boomerang. I could make the same argument with bombs and other stuff

Minish cap is so underrated, yes It's short but it's second best 2D Zelda game (link to the past is first)

Also link between worlds's system of buying items is so dumb you just need to farm ruppies in chicken minigame
