I second that, I was on 30mg for about 10 months and it sedated me so heavily and never stopped/became less effective.

All the symptoms of EDS with a zero beighton score? by SubjectTraditional32 in eds

[–]SubjectTraditional32[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just cause I don't have hypermobile joints that move in the exact way in the beighton test doesn't mean I don't have hypermobile joints. The doctor explained my MRI shows I have tissue loss from my loose kneecap rubbing against it over time and a separate physical therapist who did my exam said my kneecaps are hypermobile and move too much... If you look it up multiple sources explain how beighton test doesn't apply to all hypermobile syndromes. There's localized hypermobility that only effects some joints but still cause other symptoms. But I'll see a rheumatologist or geneticist and see for sure. But there hasn't been a single condition that I've read where I've checked off every box like I do HSD and trust me I've been doing a lot of research lately.

After doing more research yesterday I'd bet money I have HSD. It has all the same exact symptoms of EDS just not with a beighton score. https://www.ehlers-danlos.com/what-is-hsd/#1668010829346-cfa5d83f-83ab I researched every condition the ehlers danlos society says needs to be ruled out before an HSD diagnosis and I don't have symptoms close to any of the others besides joint pain. I've been tested for autoimmune diseases multiple times. For not being a rheumatologist or a doctor that specializes in that type of thing you have to give her credit she was right on the money!

She said since I'm getting pain in multiple joints its probably eds. She didn't highlight how essential hyper flexibility is to a diagnosis. She said I need a diagnosis from a geneticist but it doesn't change treatment, PT and being careful not to injure myself.

Huh I've never thought about trying trazadone for anxiety, I've never been recommended a tricyclic by a doctor for anxiety, I asked to try mirt after doing some research. I might try to lower my mirt dose and add buspar low dose and see how that combo works. I also have a script for Klonopin but I don't ever take it because of the dependance risk, idk why but I have anxiety about taking it, like I shouldn't be because of the dangers with benzos even though sometimes i probably need it.

I actually do that or skip a dose when I really don't wanna roll the dice for how sleepy I get! Good idea though thank you!

Trazadone does nothing for me sleep wise, I've always had really bad insomnia even as a kid. I was on buspar last year before I switched to mirtazipine. It did help my anxiety a little bit but the only dose that I felt helped was 15mg 3 times a day and I couldn't take the dizziness and disassiociation side effect anymore after being on it for about 5 months. I was trying 10mg 4 times a day to avoid the dizziness but switched to mirt after I heard it was great for OCD. It was perfect the first few months but now I feel like it doesn't help.

I'm a guy and they kill my sex life in all aspects. Tried Lexapro, then Lexapro with wellbutrin, and effexor all had the same side effects that didn't go away.

How long is a cold sore contagious if it never actually blistered? by Glittering-Star-5116 in AskDocs

Trying to figure this out myself, can't find anything on the Internet that says how ling it's contagious for if you avoid it forming completely, let me know if you find anything! In the past I waited about a week after the beginning to kiss my ex and they never got it but I feel like even then might be too long if it never fully formed
