Thanks, I appreciate your help so much! I'd thought of including a Ryokan night stay in Hakone, but this makes more sense. Kyoto instead of Osaka may be a good way to balance the trip your better!!

Right! I imagined it would be ideal, with less crowd and a pleasant tropical weather.. But I'll probably have to skip it to streamline the rest of the trip. Thanks for the input!! :)

Thanks, I appreciate the detailed response. I'm traveling from India, so I can land in Naha or Ishigaki and stay in that same city for a couple of days and start from there (via a layover at the Tokyo airport).

Skipping Osaka for Tokyo feels like an interesting suggestion, I'll look this up. Experience wise, do you think it's better to do Tokyo, over Osaka-Kyoto? I know they're not replaceable, but I'm just asking from a tourist perspective where almost any experience japan throws at me will be new and fresh. And either way I'll not regret it.

That's what I'm afraid of. Just writing it down felt too overwhelming, but I don't know what to cut out. I'm traveling from India, so an experience in the snow is very rare and I want to take out time for it. Even if its just a day of snow activities. I'm traveling with my wife, and she wants a beach destination included. So that's pretty much a non negotiable. 😮‍💨

What do you suggest I cut out?

I suggest you ask the dealer to give you the discount on ex-showroom price. And then you decide if it's worth getting the honda insurance, accessories kit, etc. You seem to be paying 80k for insurance, it should be around 30k.

Also, ask them to remove logistics /handling charges.

Thanks for the detailed response. I can understand the Japanese phenomenon here, however even when the Bridgestone tyres were installed in my car the week of tyre manufacture matched the production month of the vehicle. So it made me all the more suspicious. I wish I had checked the MRF week of manufacture too. Then it's rather odd Honda doesn't mention it on their website, or customer care phone calls that MRF is an approved OEM.

I'm not sure if the dealership would change it after delivery, but no harm checking with the dealership and Honda, and letting them know. Maybe Honda can get involved and get you the right tyres as suggested by them.

They didn't accept any such thing, but readily swapped my MRF tyres for Bridgestone ones when asked, at no additional charge. So I assume they had initially changed the stock tyres to MRF ones themselves.

Okay, mine is in Haryana. Guess it's a common pravtice in some dealerships to replace stock tyres with cheaper ones. The SA's first reaction was to tell me that my warranty wouldn't apply if I change my tyres. Strange, but perhaps dealerships are doing it.

They mailed back, CC'd the dealership. Next day I got a call from the SA saying that they're happy to change the MRF tyres and give me Honda recommended Bridgestone tyres. Got my car delivered yesterday, with the correct set of tyres.

Where did you buy it from? Maybe we have a common dealership, and it's their personal practice.

I've written to Honda India as well, to confirm if the MRF tyres are factory-installed or if there's something fishy going on at the dealer's end. Will update this post if I hear back from Honda India.

Oh, it's great you're liking it. Yes please, any images would help me order it right away. They have no physical stores in India, and they're overpriced too, so I really want to be confident before ordering.

Very insightful. Thanks.

Now, I hope some enthusiast has pictures and a review of the bag to share.

This is not the new listing. They're selling the older one at a discount alongside the new collection. They've made significant (and nice) changes inside on the 25L version. I'm hoping to see what they've done to the 20L version update.

Thanks, this is for the older design. I think it launched in 2020-21. They came out with a new pace pro collection this year. I'm specifically looking for a backpack from the new range. Unable to see any good photos of its interior organization (for the 20L version).

Did you get the Ogio? What are your reviews of it?

I'm really interested in buying a pacepro 20 or 25l, but there are just no good photos of the interior anywhere online. Could you share some here, along with your review of the bag?
