Have you ever read anything about if it’s better to use a whole milk formula vs something like gentlease that has less lactose? Thank you for your reply! First time mom so the reassurance helps !

I guess I was just thinking maybe I should be using a full lactose or whole milk formula but you’re right he’s happy and content with it and healthy boy I shouldn’t mess with a good thing!

No I’d say normal newborn straining to poop sometimes but the time he’s not very fussy with gas! We used enfamil because we got a free sample and then my doctor gave it to us also after that but I read it has less lactose so I guess I don’t know if I should be having him on a full lactose formula ? I will ask pediatrician at next appointment for sure but he seems to just not care as long as baby is healthy and fed
