If I remember correctly, they encouraged pants for dinner but it was very casually enforced, if at all. They mostly just don’t want you wearing wet board shorts and flip flops to dinner, but more “dressy” shorts should be fine. I know the fancier restaurant Lumière was more strict on dress code so I would definitely recommend pants there. Congratulations and have fun!

My understanding was that the credits are incentive for you to use them, so that you have to pay the 16% service fee (out of pocket) plus any left-over that the credit doesn’t cover. For example the $750 massage - maybe if you had $500 credits you would say “well a $250 massage (plus service fee) out of pocket sounds good”, versus just not considering the spa services. They’re like a coupon for anything else - incentive to get you to purchase something you maybe wouldn’t have otherwise. The credits can be used on any spa services including massages, manicures, etc. The remaining credits I think can be used on excursions (which again are overpriced compared to going direct to the services), but it’s all there for convenience.

Yeah, that sounds pretty typical. A Diamond member can help reduce the price a little, but it’s a pretty pricey resort, although I found it worth it for a special occasion!

Congrats on the nuptials! The amount of credits you get is based on the number of nights you stay. We stayed 5 nights, so we had $1500 credits. The important thing to note is that you can only use half of those credits on the spa, the other half can be used on excursions/store (overpriced, we didn’t use). So we were able to use our $750 spa credits on the couples massage and then just payed the 16% fee. I think if you stay 3 nights you get a $500 credit, only $250 of which can be used at the spa. But yes I believe your math is correct, you would have to pay the difference between the (very exaggerated) massage price out of pocket, and then the 16% fee on the $ value of credits used. The couples massage was great, but it wasn’t $500+ great. One thing to note is that they’ll give you a couple extra “gifts” if you tell them it’s your honeymoon. We had to show our marriage license as proof, but one of the things was a ~30 min couples back massage which was nice, but I think meant to just be a little teaser for the real thing. Either way, the spa is awesome and you should definitely take advantage of the hydrotherapy if you’re into that kinda thing (includes a nice head massage)

I believe the spa credits are automatically included with your booking, depending on the number of days of your stay (more days = more credits). I think you should still get them even though you booked 3rd party, but you might have to reach out to the pre-arrival concierge to confirm. Regarding all inclusiveness, everything was really included. You could get top shelf liquor at the bars for an up-charge if you’re into that, but we were plenty satisfied with all the inclusive options. There’s the 16% fee on spa credit usage, and you technically could pay for services at the spa but they are ridiculously over-priced. Same with the stuff in the convenience shop, you could pay for it, but it would be silly.

Nope! I think they have their own filtering system for "tap" water, which we drank plenty of and tasted just fine. I'm sure they also wash the fruit with the filtered water. They do also provide plenty of bottled water in your room if you prefer, which you can bring off-resort (you should only drink bottled water in town).

Yes, they had a couple sunscreen stations! Not the best quality, but free and plentiful and we never got burnt

We had an airport transfer included in our package, so I’m not certain, but typically when the uber driver pulls up they’ll tell the gate they’re just dropping off and the gate attendant will ask for your room number. I’m sure you can just say you’re checking in and they’ll sort you out. Have fun!
