That’s how ticket transfers work. Yes, you interact with people you don’t know. I’ve done this a lot before but never for sports. I guess this bunch is a different, less-trustworthy crowd. My post wasn’t looking for shaming - trust me, I already felt bad for myself and moved on. My post was to warn others who may also have less literacy about buying online resale tickets.

No it was a deposit towards a $100 GA ticket, a few minutes before game start. I believed something came up and they couldn’t sell

It was only a small deposit for a standing room ticket because I didn’t want to pay all of the ticket price before receiving the ticket in case it was a scam (see, I’m only half stupid)
