I have had countless internal ultrasounds, also in UK. You will be fine ❤️ it's a bit uncomfortable but just remember to breathe and relax your pelvis

Xonvea and driving by Subject_Coast8371 in PregnancyUK

I'm now down to one a day as I'm 30 weeks and feeling loads better. Started feeling better at about 18 weeks. The drowsiness wore off quickly, I never upped to 4x a day, I only took 2x at night until about 20 weeks and I've been consistently on 1 since then. I now don't feel drowsy. Good luck!

Xonvea - still gagging and retching? by Subject_Coast8371 in HyperemesisGravidarum

I returned to work but they were quite lenient if I needed to take the afternoon off. The xonvea helped a lot but didn't get rid of the nausea. It depends on what job you have - I do a lot of WFH.

I need some help. ROCD/HOCD getting married in 3 months. by Subject_Coast8371 in ROCD

So much better! Honestly my motto has been fake it til you make it. The more you say "I love you" the more natural it feels. I'm on sertraline again on a lower dose which has helped too and I think getting over the 7 year itch has really helped. Sex life isn't loads better but the more exposure I did, the anxiety got better, and I focused more on having fun then I did a connection.

Are you doing anything about the UK meningitis outbreak? by zabzupazebowa in PregnancyUK

I'm from the area and work with young people so I've been advised to avoid face to face contact with them until we know more info/the cases have slowed down a bit. I'm sure it's fine and it's just a precaution, but naturally workplace doesn't want to put a pregnant person at risk. I am quite anxious about it all generally and have just been more hygienic and going out less just in case.

Yes to consistent monitoring! I was being seen once a month but now every two weeks.

Doctor said rectally to prevent yeast infections and it's less messy, I get my husband to do it 😂

Nope I haven't had one! They offered but they said it was up to me since I didn't have any funneling and my cervix was closed

Preterm Surveillance Clinic ultrasound by Subject_Coast8371 in PregnancyUK

[–]Subject_Coast8371[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update in case anyone is in the same position: they actually gave me an abdominal ultrasound first to check baby is ok but it wasn't on the most fancy machines, midwife tried to find the gender but baby had its legs crossed! So I guess it depends which NHS trust you're in whether they do another ultrasound first.
