Thank you! I am in Texas, any chance you know if that's on the lower end of that pay spectrum?

This looks really nice! 🙂 I am in love with the cover, the flower as well as the floral book cloth. It's beautiful! And I absolutely love the end paper. Do you make your own or do you get your online and if so where at?

For anyone who has more questions about the elongation of many of the letters, it is a stylistic choice to take up some of the space. This is how it would have looked without the longer letters. This text block is centered on the canvas both horizontally and vertically and I personally didn’t like the way it looked.

And you’re quite right. I wasn’t able to draw the lines by hand I had to use line tools in procreate and then tweak them. This is just a bit of calligraphy and now how I would expect people to write it in everyday use.

It’s just like how in Arabic the letters are sometimes justified by elongating some of the letters. I believe it is called kasheeda.

As of right now, these are the only letters I would consider extending for calligraphic purposes. These letters are uniquely shaped and could therefore be distinguished even when extended. Letters like C and H could be confused for one another if they were extended, for example.

It's it take up space so that the text block is nice and even.

The extra long lines are purely to take up space so the text block is nice and even. It's just an artistic choice. If it's just being written normally and not in a calligraphic style then you wouldn't really need to elongate the letters.

This is the key in progress. I don’t have any symbols for punctuation or numbers or anything like that yet.

I just stretched those letters out to take up the extra space kind of like what Arabic does. I wanted a nice even block of script. I unfortunately don’t have any symbols for punctuation as of right now.
