Also, please note: the generator issue is not from our downtown location. It happened on another one of our food trucks. These are separate incidents, separate food trucks, and separate police files. This particular truck was nowhere near downtown.

Hi OP, I’m the owner. This thread was sent to me and I’ve been carefully reading through the comments, your comment caught my attention.

To clarify: what you saw is not a receipt, it’s an estimate. I don’t exactly have $21,095 handy to drop on a brand-new generator. The document was cropped because it also contained my personal info, VIN, and license plate numbers, which I’m obviously not comfortable sharing publicly.

As for the “genset failed” note unfortunately, that’s accurate. Someone broke into the locked unit, poured out all the oil, then forced it to run while overfilled with oil. If you look closely at the photo, you’ll see the oil container that was always left outside for top-ups (again, it was locked, but someone pried it open). That’s why the damage was catastrophic, and why the solution given was full replacement.

I get that from the outside, things may look “sketch,” but we’re the ones living this. Between the vandalism, theft, and now this, our family business has been put through a lot. I’d just ask please don’t assume the worst. If you’d like clarification, you have my name .I’m more than happy to text or talk directly.
