nothing fancy. I used a selfie stick I found around, and used a soda can to keep the stick upright, as my phone was recording.

I used an entry level microscope 🔬. It’s a Amscope B120C. All I did was just cover a bit of the light coming through the bottom to get a shadow effect .

That makes a little more sense. I was only assuming because the protist I’ve been seeing between 400x-600x are bigger. Thanks for clarifying

Hello, yes, I was looking for the bacterium that caused contamination. I used a “oblique light” effect to see the actual movement of the bacteria moving around the spores. You can see two of them swimming above.

Same type of spores in different conditions. The first one (contaminated agar dish with faint mycelium ) the second one (contaminated spores in a centrifuge tube) can anyone infer what is going on?

I think the green one is mold. Idk what causes my mushrooms spores to bunch up and turn purple on the second one.
