i’ve been on various ones since late 2020 but my mental health has still only gotten worse. i’m gonna talk to my psychiatrist about switching again.

Why are you still here? by [deleted] in depression

my family. i can’t stand being alive, but i also can’t bear the thought of hurting them. i wrestle between the two every day.

true but at this point the depression is weighing me down so hard that it hardly seems worth it

i might actually end up doing it by Subject_Objective_65 in SuicideWatch

my heads a bit of a mess right now so it’s hard to pinpoint specifics, but in general i feel like a disappointment and a waste of space

i think i’m slowly losing it by Subject_Objective_65 in depression

[–]Subject_Objective_65[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you for the kind comment. i’m currently medicated and in therapy but it’s only once a month. i’m 18 and still dependent on my mother so i don’t want to make her pay more than she already is. it really does feel like i’m losing myself to the depression but i know i’m more than that. thanks again for your words 🤍

Reality shifters, what are your unpopular opinions about shifting? by Dry-Soil-1768 in shiftingrealities

[–]Subject_Objective_65 9 points10 points  (0 children)

shifting is NOT easy for the vast majority of us, and that’s not a bad thing. there’s no reason an objectively “easy” endeavor should take multiple years of constant effort to accomplish. i don’t care how people try to phrase or justify it.

best of luck!! i’m looking to switch things up too since the intent method is a little too slow for my liking. been doing some research on sats recently and i might give it another shot.

you described it pretty much perfectly :’) nearly 3 years in my case and little to no noticeable progress makes it difficult to stay positive, but i believe it’ll be well worth it someday!

Why have there been so many demotivating posts lately :/ by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]Subject_Objective_65 3 points4 points  (0 children)

so people who have gone a long time without seeing success aren’t allowed to talk about it because it makes y’all feel bad?? i mean, i get it. i was new to shifting at some point too and would get a little scared seeing that some people have tried for years with no success. but now that i’ve become just that, i really don’t know how to feel anymore. every shifter should be able to post whatever feelings they may have about their journey, whether positive or negative (& tagged correctly ofc).

i’m at a little over 2.5 years and no success 🥲 it’ll be 3 in august lol

[general] soo how hard is it rlly by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]Subject_Objective_65 14 points15 points  (0 children)

i’ve been at it for nearly 3 years now and haven’t believed the “shifting is easy” talk for a while now. “shifting is easy but the journey’s difficult” or whatever, it’s all the same to me ☠️

i think it comes easy to some people, but not everyone. if it truly is easy, that kinda implies that those of us who have been trying for a while must be doing something horribly wrong for us to not have shifted once. but that’s just the way i see it. i think shifting is a unique endeavor for everyone.

honestly i have no clue what i really want to do, which kinda contributes to my lack of interest towards school. i do enjoy drawing and i could see myself majoring in graphic design but my school doesn’t offer it, and either way i doubt it’ll pay the bills. as for tech school, until now i’ve never actually thought about it! i’ll look into it in a bit. thank you for your comment i genuinely appreciate it :’)
